Upon the request of the President, the chairmen of the com­mittees, one after the other, announced that their work is unfinished; therefore, upon the motion of Secretary George E. Kerekes Borshy, the President suspended the Convention until 9 A. M. the next day, after its members sang the hymn, “Praise and Glory”, and John Rigo, delegate, expressed our grateful feelings toward the Almighty God in his prayers. The members of the Convention opened their devotion at 9 A. M. by singing hymns, “0 Thou Who Hearest Our Pleas” and “This New Morning Instills Us”; then Dr. Andrew Kosa, delegate, read the Bible, and Géza Veszprémi, member of the Supreme Council, prayed; finally they all sang the hymn, “God Bless Us”. After the devotions Dr. Francis Újlaki, President, opened the seventh session of the Convention. 40. Dezső Abraham, Recording Secretary, read the minutes taken on the previous day’s business, which the Convention approved, and asked Andrew Kurimai, William Velekei and Mrs. Mary Varga, delegates, to attest them. 41. Charles Papp, Vice President, announced that the Convention re­ceived greetings by telegram from Mrs. John Ballo, Dr. Bela Mark and Emery Siket, leaders of the 69th Street church in New York City. The Convention acknowledged it with thanks. 42. Eugene Galantai, delegate, introduced Nicholas Matusz, of Johns­town, Pa., who has been a member of our Federation since 1912, and now, disregarding his old age, has come to greet the Convention. The Convention gratefully acknowledged the greet­ings and asked God's blessing upon our fellow- member who is over 80 years old. 43. Alexander Daroczy, Vice President, submitted the following text of the declaration prepared by the committee: A Message to Church Organizations Brethren in the Lord!
