Charles Papp, Vice President, took over the chair and Dr. Francis Újlaki, President, introduced his report for the period of the past four years, reading its text already printed in the last issue of Fraternity. The Convention listened with extreme attention to the report written on the high standards and with the deep faith of its author for which the Chairman of the session expressed the thanks of the Convention, and the Convention unanimously accepted the re­port for further deliberation. 11. Dr. Francis Újlaki, President, again presiding, called upon George E. Kerekes Borshy, Secretary, who read his report on the activities of the past four years, from the latest issue of Fraternity, in which both the preceding and the following reports were published. He also an­nounced the recent signing of the Articles of Merger, as authorized by the Supreme Council, merging the First Hungarian Sick and Fraternal Benefit Society of Bethlehem, Pa., with the Federation, but which re­quires approval by the Insurance Departments of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. The announcement was greeted with applause of approval. Upon the request of the President, Emery Király, Treasurer, introduced his report on the financial activities of the Federation during the past four years. The Convention unanimously accepted the report for further deliberation. 13. Upon the request of the President, Edmund Vasvary, Auditor, introduced his report on the activities of his office during the past four years. The Convention unanimously accepted the report for further deliberation. 14. Upon the request of the President, Dr. Francis Horvath, Medical Director, introduced his report on his official activities during the past four years. The Convention unanimously accepted the report for further deliberation. 15. After the singing of the hymn, “Christ Who Art Sun and Light”, and the thanksgiving prayer of Louis Nagy, delegate, the President re­cessed the Convention until 9 A. M. the next day.
