2 FRATERNITY ED ITO HI AL AFTER OUR CONVENTION Reports published in Hungarian daily and weekly papers adequately informed our membership about the main events and important resolutions of our Sixtieth Anniversary Convention. It is not our intention to give here an account of the events neither on any of the resolutions, since after completion of the Minutes they will be published in both languages anyway. We want, however, to use this opportunity to express how happy we were having second and third generation young men among the delegates in an amazing high number who appeared for the first time as a decisive factor in our Federation s life. We closely watched their fine spirit, modest attitude and intelligent approach to our vital problems and proudly acknowledged the worthiness of this new generation to the tradition and the excellent work accomplished by the faithful old leaders. No wonder, that some of them became members of the Supreme Council. The Convention elected the following new officers who will take over office on March 15, 1957: Rev. George E. K. Borshy, President; Rev. Joseph Kecskemétiig, Secretary; Emerly Király, Treasurer, and László Eszenyi, Auditor. The new members of the Supreme Council are: Rev. Alexander Daroczy, First Vice-President; Rev. Zoltán Beky, Second Vice-President; Stephen Syposs (Tonawanda, N. Y.), Joseph Molnár (Passaic, N. J.), Rev. Bertalan Szathmary (Long Branch, N. J.), Rev. Louis Nagy (McKeesport, Pa.), William Szuch (Sharon, Pa.), Sigmund Palagyi (Elyria, 0.), Dr. Stephen Szabó (Cleveland, 0.), Géza V es premi (Dearborn, Mich.), regidar members. Alternate members are: Rev. Stephen Böszörményi (Bridgeport, Conn,), Dr. Andrew Kosa (New Brunswick, N. J.), Joseph Molnár (Trenton, N. J.), Andrew Lenart (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Michael Rezes (Du- quesne, Fa,), Rev. Matthias Daroczy (Cleveland, 0.), Joseph Lazar (Elyria, 0.) and Rev. Arpad George (Chicago, III.) May God bless every good effort of our new leaders. George E. K. Borshy
