JULY—AUGUST, 1950 Permanent Valueá Wheter life is meaningful or not depends on what we think about and how we think. If we look up, we can see the sun, the moon, the stars — a wonderful universe. If we look down, we are prone to see only the clay, dirt, dust and refuse thrown away by man. We worry about so many things, food, clothing and money to spend; things which have no permanent value. Jesus was poor in earthly possessions, but he is recognized as the man with the greatest resources of life. He knew and chose the things that are indestructible and of permanent value.
