Our Spiritual Renewal

“He restoneth my soul”

Vacation time should be a period when we restore our souls. “God still restores the soul through nature, as the still waters and green pastures restored the soul of the Psalmist.” In the quiet of the country, the lake or the mountains, we find ourselves again and are renewed in spirit. Even though we may not be able to leave the city, there are quiet spots of green where we may go and find rest and peace from the daily worries and frets. Happy is the man who has the capacity for this enjoyment of nature and solitude.
