TÁROGATÓ A Canadian Magyar Monthly for the enlightenment and entertainment of Hungarians, edited by Dr. A. Czakó, published by The United, Church oj Canada. Sixth year, No. 4. October, 1943. CONTENTS. By what should we measure •the value oj human life? This is the question our leading article tries to answer by pointing out the importance of our own effort which leads, or does not lead, to any achiewement. The title of the article is The Great Inequality. — We have already dealt to some extent with Stamp Collecting. A second article in this issue deals with fakes, forgeries, with specialization and other side lines of this interesting and important hobby. In the NOTES we call attention to the fact that unless we all cooperate with the Government’s effort to stop inflation we shall have it and suffer by it. The suggestions offered in this Note were taken over from an Editorial of the N.Y. Herald Tribune. —• The Editor thought that he might as well tell his readers which of the very many detective stories were worth reading, he himself being a champion reader of such stories. He did so in the second Note. The third Note is a collection of curious people and queer events collected from news paper reports. Alexander Finta’s poem, Good night, and the Editor’s Notes to The Tragedy oj Man conclude this issue. ★ ★ ★ GOD SAVE THE KING. The editor’s book: Don Quixote, A Commentary, dealing with the theory of the world and life, has been published. Price $1.50 for bound copies, $1.00 for paper bound ones. Order from Dr. A. Czakó 423 Queen St. W., Toronto, Ont., Canada.
