He makes an effort to show the facts objectively without discussing politics and he tells the viewpoints of the people interested realistically, as well. In such a topic that is related to actual politics the writers can often make the mistake of prejudice, but fortunately it cannot be said of this essay. The author also uses the written sources, remembrances, the informants' and his own knowledge excellently in his stop-gap institution-historical study. Hajnalka Keresztes Insight to the Religious Life of Calvinists in Gyünk Examination of church life, coexistence of different denominations and exhibition of the clerical habits and the connection between the church and folk-custom were the favourite topics of writing local-history. The reformed Germans were made to settle in three settlements in our county: in Mórágy, Gyönk and Nagyszékely. There are studies about the Germans of the first two settlements, a study about the last one. Nagyszékely was made by the author earlier, and it was published in the 12th volume of “Tolna County Archives Booklet” in 2009. The author shows several new results to readers. This study contains folk prayers, congratulations, wedding verses and earlier unpublished authentic elements of folk custom in German. The writer also used archival sources in her essay. The original collections of the study are very important documents; the author's statements are reliable and enrich the readers with a lot of new information.
