Rainbow 46 / 1995/2 LITERARY, ARTISTIC AND CRITICAL REVIEW PUBLISHED EVERY FOUR MONTH Summary We open this issue with György Faludy’s Sonnets, followed by poems by Itámár Jáoz- Keszt (Tel Aviv), Attila Szepesi, Győző Határ; and István Fried writes about the antiquity of Győző Határ. We publish Zoltán Sztáray’s interview about a one time Japanese concentration camp in the U.S.A. We present the Group Mér’eg with an opening text of Miklós Zelei, poems are published by Tamás Tomkiss, Zoltán Marai, András Molnár, Ákos Heltai, and Janox. Prose writings are by: Csaba Heltai and Norbert Haklik. Tibor Bálint’s (Kolozsvár) short story is followed by poems of Gáspár Nagy, György Pálinkás, Ferenc Mózsi, Hajnalka Mohi, Mari Tomay, Zsuzsánna Noth, Emese Egyed, Emese Éva Gál, Lajos Major-Zala, Dániel Hatvani, Gábor Fülöp, Lajos Kelemen, Tibor Vass, lorant k. kábái, Attila Elekes (Milano), Zoltán Zsávolya. Bálint Szombathy writes about Zoltán Szügyi’s Artistic Post-cards. (See as our offprint.) We also publish proses by János Géczi, Richárd Tóth, Ádám Fejér, Attila Jász. This is the first time we publish Andor Sziklay’s (Washington): The Citizen Escapes. (Márai-Memoires). Klára Györgyey gives her usual account about the latest theater-performances in Hungary. We publish Imre Babies’ play: We Are Flying in the Iceberg. (Fragment). We also publish studies by Béla Pomogáts (In the Service of Our Mothertongue), and Lajos Kántor (Kolozsvár). We publish bookreviews by György Gömöri, János Miska, György Kismezei, László Grétsy, Lajos Szathmáry, and Klára Györgyey. This issue is illustrated by József Benes. On the cover there are poems of György Vitéz and Győző Határ. An award is offered by the editors of M-Szivárvány for essays on the possibilities and preservation of Hungarian identity for Hungarians living wherever outside of Hungary.
