RAINBOW 1988/25. Literary, artistic and critical review Published every four months Summary With this issue we open our 9 th year of publication. We publish poems of Sándor Kányádi, Domokos Szilágyi (both from Transylvania), Dénes Csengey, Ferenc Mózsi, János S. Csorna (Vienna), Zsolt K. Lengyel, Károly Grandpierre (Montréal), Marianna Lango (Budapest), Péter B. Szabó (Zürich), György Fa lúd y, Alajos Kannás, Sándor András, György Petri, Gáspár Nagy, and Lóránt Zas. We publish István Csurka ’s essay: Lakitelek, followed by short sto­ries of Krisztina Paulay (Los Angeles), and Gyula Szuly (Budapest). Also are included ironical writings of László Császár, Szabolcs Sajgó (Canada), and Gábor Gyukics (Amsterdam). This issue is illustrated by the artist Gyula Marosán (Toronto). We are commemorating the late Imre Nagy, primeminister of Hun­gary in 1956. Zsolt Csalog’s interview is followed by the essais of Imre Mécs, Vik­tor Jász (both from Budapest), and Dénes Csengey's vocational speech at the Jurta Színház(Budapest). In the critique section, we publish book reviews by László Endrődy, Klára Györgyey, Tamás Tűz, Éva Saárv, Marianna D. Birnbaum, Nándor Ludvig, Péter Ka síik, Adám Mák kai, and Lajos Szathmáry. Our new contributor, Guidó Görgey (New York), pays tribute to his friend of the Recsk ’s labour camp.
