PAGE 2 E X G H T E E DEMOCRACY IN ACTION IN OHIO ELECTION LAWS IN COMMUNIST STYLE! You may have read in your local newspaper a series of articles, that the George Wallace American Independent Party will find closed doors in the State of Ohio. In other words, put up or shut up, if you live in Ohio. You can be a Democrat or a Republican, but do not try to be an independent. If you are an independent, just pick a candidate of either of the two existing parties, which are the same, but for God’s sake do not try to change the system! This is what we have learned during the past year in our attempt to help to organize a third party, the George Wallace American Independent Party in Ohio. At present, the Ohio election laws are the most restrictive in the United States. The Ohio statutes are so scrupulous that the best legal council finds it almost impossible to live up to the requirements. These restrictive measures were taken by the controlling political interests, to ban any possible rebellious acts by the disenchanted voters!..— So if you live in Ohio, you can switch back and forth between Democrats and Republicans, until hell freezes over, but your chances to make your vote count are quite slim. Today the American elections remind us of the elections in Communist Hungary, where you have a number of candidates approved by the Establishment, but who ever you choose is part of the same group of policymakers — party monopoly. — You are told, that you can vote for a Democrat or a Republican! You are influenced by the TV, and the press! You are being conditioned to accept things as they are! Your two headed big brother will even think for you! You either swim in this political cesspool or drown in it! And just to remind you, Ohio is a leading state in raping the electors from the freedom of choice, that is a real choice. Not the liberal of your choice, which is standard procedure. The officials in Columbus are quite naive, if they think, that the people of Ohio are not seeing, that every attempt is made to prevent the George Wallace American Independent Party from obtaining ballot qualifications in Ohio. The people are learning about it and they will make certain that these dictatorial policies will find proper reprisal. They cannot crush the spirit of the people, neither can they stop them from succeeding. The people of Ohio will live with unjust laws, if they have to, but policy makers and law makers will have to live with unhappy voters. As a result of widespread public support and demand the Ohio Independents have started a third party registration drive and will comply with the stiffest regulations. Any furher hostile measures will meet more and more resistance, from the people of Ohio, including the former Hungarian Freedom Fighters, until just measures are taken. Louis F. Molnár A RESOLUTION OF AMERICAN PATRIOTS The following resolution has been accepted on April the 4th 1967 at an assemble of American and Hungarian patriotic organizations in the memory of the enslaved people of Hungary. Representatives of the participating organizations were Lee A. Dodson Washing ton representative of Liberty Lobby, Robert W. Annable NAAWP National Chairman, Margaret Spindle Tactic Commitee, member of the John Birch Society. ....Patriots! It is our firm belief that the freedom of America is in danger. The enemies of within and outside our borders are attacking our nation. We cannot stand up successfully against the outside enemy until the enemy of within is defeated. We may stand up against the invasion of our land by the international Communists, only if we are able to achieve unity with our friends and our allies. Our friends and our allies are those, who were at war with Communist in the past, today accepting the ideological warfare against Communism and willing to do both in the future. We consider them as our precedent, all who have given their life for the freedom of their nation, since the birth of Communism. We consider them all to be our martyrs who have died in their fight against Communism. We consider to be our friends everyone, who is willing to sacrifice their life for the freedom of the United States and the World. We consider to be our allies those who are suffering in the Communist prisons or existing as slaves under the international mastership of the Communist enterprise. We admit the creation of historic blunders in our past. We have contributed to the subdivision of thousand year old territorial unities which could have been fortresses against the Communist expansion. We have condemned as war criminals, those who have only fought to protect their nation and their independence against Communism. Our victory became a defeat in the hands of Communists. We have left alone those who have again and again tried to get rid of the Communist regime. Looking back to the historical disappointments of the past we can conclude that we have been systematically misled. We believe the time has finally arrived for a Conational Anti-communist unity. The unity of forces is a prerequisite for our success. We have to make a change from the defensive to the offensive. We have to work out the positive program of victory. Our freedom is in danger from the forces of within and outside of our nation. Slavery cannot win over freedom. The darkness of prisons cannot dim the light of the spirit. The future is ours. Patriots of the world unite!
