28 Szemészet Supplementum I. 1890 in Hungarian language. He had significant professional activity. He held more than 30 lectures at the Royal Society of Physicians in Budapest and he was the first who suggested the foundation of ophthalmic section in 1892. He held many lectures for the Society of General Hospital Physicians, and he also acted as vice-president and secretary general. His international reputation is well represented by his corresponding and honorary memberships in Berlin, Prague, Paris, Lemberg and Krakow. He played an active role in school health and he was among the first in Hungary who supported the education and help of blind people. His memorial tablet was deservedly unveiled in 2010 in the School for the Blind in Budapest. Plenáris ülés
