Esetünket azért tartottuk bemutatásra érdemesnek, mert a nagyon ritka Takayasu-arteritis és a Leiden-mutáció együttes előfordulása mellett, a „pulzushiányos” betegség szemészeti eltéréséről, tüneteiről is beszámolhattunk.
