Авторы применяли имплантацию синтетической трубки по Quickert-Dryden при различных типах врожденных или приобретенных закупорках слезоотводящей системы. Как показывает их опыт, данный метод приносит пользу в первую очередь в грудном и детском возрасте, однако может оказаться решением проблемы при рецидивирующих закупорках слезных путей и у лиц взрослого возраста.

Implantation of a synthetic tube of Quickert-Dryden was applied in different types of congenital or acquired occlusions of the lacrymal apparatus. According to the results the method is in the first place advantageous in infancy and childhood, but may be used with success in cases of recurrent lacrymal occlusion in adult age.

K. Hajas und J. Polgár: Dakryozystorhionestomie mit Kunststoffrohr- Implantation

Bei den unterschiedlichen angeborenen oder erworbenen Obliterationen des Tränenableitungssystems kam die Implantation des QUICKERT-DRYDENschen Kunststoffrohres zur Anwendung. Die Erfahrungen sprechen dafür, daß das Verfahren vor allem im Säuglings- und Kindesalter vorteilhaft ist, aber auch bei rezidivierenden Tränenwegobliterationen der Erwachsenen eine Hilfe bieten kann.
