böző idegen anyagokat — pl. az amalgám tömést, — közismert. Természetes tehát, hogy a szövetbarát acrylat prothesis veszély nélkül beépíthető' a csontdentin transplantatumba.

E műtét, melyet valódi autotransplantatumnak tekinthetünk, elméletileg vitathatatlanul jobbnak látszik, mint az egyszerű keratoprothesis.

Egyet kell értenünk azonban Castroviejoval, aki szerint a kilökődés nem immunológiai folyamatoktól függ, hanem a szövetek idegentest tolerantiájától. Ebből a szemszögből vizsgálva a kérdést, természetesnek látszik, hogy az osteoodonto-keratoprothesis kilökődésének veszélye sokkal nagyobb, mint az egyszerű keratoprothesisé. Ezt bizonyítják Cardona állatkísérletei is.

A probléma nem tekinthető lezártnak. Végső soron mindkét műtét aphysiológiás, és csak kétségbeesett próbálkozásnak tekinthető olyan esetekben, mikor már semmi más módon nem tudunk segíteni.
