Aczél, György: A New Method for Estimating the Suitability of Pseudoisochromatic Plates and Evaluating the Readings.

Author reviews briefly the literature on establishing the suitability of pseudoisochromatic plates for the purpose of screening, and in addition discloses his own process. Subjecting each plate to be tested by 100 persons of normal colour sense and by a further 50 having colour-defect, he carried out percentual calculations of the answers, in order to obtain respective screening value of a set of plates can be computed.

On the basis of the gained as indicated above, Author considers the suitability of different plate-sets comparable, and furthermore, regards his method as an aid for evaluating the results of screening tests. A report on his examinations and a table called for the use of different plate-sets are included.
