1459 role of jews in the economic, cultural and social life of the country. The opinions of the different parties and Christian churches regarding the proposed law are than presented. Next the discussions of the commitees' and plenary sessions' of the parliament during which the proposed law was somewhat „relaxed”, however the majority of the changes actually meant more severe restrictions and the basic dispositions did not change in the law that was ratified in early May of 1939.
