The spreading of Transilvania 's gothic churches with axial dosing of apse. About the Architectural Typology’: Transylvanian Gothic Churches with Axial Closing of Apsis (Summary) The paper presents a study of the case regarding typology as a method of work in both old architecture and historical research. The subject of the work is a pattern of Gothic church with axial closing of altar, which was built with an even number of sides - four of a hexagon or an octagon or six of a decagon. The type was used in the whole Gothic area, but less than polygonal apse with the uneven number of sides. The author points out positive and negative aspects of this typology that was gradually created by historians of medieval architecture. With this end in view we watched the circumstances in which the series came into sight: to whom is due to, what is containing and the method that is was created. The paper delt to the purpose of typology achievment for the categories of the material objects. The processing of the chronological frame is on from the major intentions of the typology elaboration. In this case, the present series who is worked a lot in the literature of specialty is actually un-used. Leaving aside is one partially, the reserarch extend of its components is very different. At this basis there were formal criteria who wasn 1 been confirm frequently with other analysis type. The typologies are
