living in the countryside. Financially supported by a foundation, the

boarding school for 126 students fulfilled the needs, offering accommodation to the children of the teachers for a moderate price or

even, in some cases, for free. In the communist period the building

was used by the Samus factory (now Electrolux), reaching gradually a

state of advanced decay.The building constructed in the first decade of the 20th century, had four levels: a basement, a ground floor and two floors. The faţade at the second floor windows was decorated by a row of rectangular plates. At the extremities of the main faţade there were two pentagonal frontons having the role of an attic.
