Biserica ortodoxă „Sf. Dumitru”

Prima biserică a satului, construită din lemn, a fost incendiată de tătari în 1717. Biserica actuală, construită în anul 1862, are o singură navă cu absidă semicirculară. Turnul cu secţiune pătrată, ridicat deasupra navei, este străpuns la etajul superior de ferestre semicirculare, aceeaşi formă regăsindu-se şi la arcadele ce ornamentează turnul. Intrarea în biserică se face printr-un pridvor deschis, cu fronton triunghiular, susţinut de patru coloane. In 1927 edificiul a fost renovat în întregime, biserica fiind sfinţită de către episcopul de Oradea, Dr. Valeriu Traian Ferenţiu. (DB).

Balotafalu (Remetemező község)

„Szt. Demeter” ortodox templom

A falu első, fából épített templomát 1717-ben a tatárok gyújtották fel. A jelenlegi egyhajós, félköríves szentéllyel záródó templomot 1862-ben építették.

A hajó fölé emelkedő négyszögletű torony felső szintjét félköríves ablakok díszítik, és ez a forma jelentkezik a tornyot díszítő ívsoron is. A bejárat előtt nyitott, négy oszlopos, timpanonos oromzatú előcsarnok áll. A templomot 1927-ben teljes egészében felújították és Dr. Valeriu Traian Ferenţiu nagyváradi püspök szentelte fel. (DB).

Aciua (comuna Pomi). The Orthodox Church of “St. Demetrius”

The first wooden church of the village was burnt by the Tatars in 1717. The present church, built in 1862, has a single nave and a semicircular apse. The tower with a square section, lifted above the nave, has semicircular windows at the upper level. The arcades decorating the tower have the same form. The entrance is made through an opened porch, with four columns and a triangular facade. The church was renovated and consecrated by the bishop of Oradea, Dr. Valeriu Traian Ferenţiu, in 1927. (DB).
