Св. Архангели Михаїл та Гавриїл • Archangels Michael and Gabriel

Icoană pe sticlă, 37,5x45 cm.

Descriere: Pictorul і-a reprezentat pe cei doi arhangheli în oglindă, astfel încât Sf. Gavril ţinând în mâini floarea se află în dreapta imaginii, iar sf. Mihail, căruia îi lipseşte atributul obişnuit, sabia, se află în partea stângă. Inscripţiile cu alfabet chirilic nu au fost însă inversate odată cu imaginile, astfel încât cei doi arhangheli sunt identificaţi greşit: “Mihail / şi Gavril”. Ramă de lemn, pictură cu tempera după şablon pe dosul sticlei. Sec. XIX.

Опис: Художник зобразив обох Архангелів в дзеркалі: Св. Гавриїл, тримаючи у руках квітку, знаходиться праворуч, а Св. Михаїл, у якого відсутній звичайний атрибут - меч, знаходиться ліворуч. Кириличні написи не були повернені разом із зображеннями, таким чином, обидва Архангели помилково ідентифіковані “Михїл / і Гавриїл”. Дерев’яна рама, написана темперою за шаблоном на звороті скла. XIX ст.

Description: The painter represented the two archangels in the mirror so that St. Gabriel holding the flower in his hands stands on the right and St. Michael, without the usual attribute that is the sword is on the left side. The two archangels are misidentified as Michael /and Gabriel (’’Mihail /si Gavril”). Wooden frame, painted with tempera by template on the back of the glass. 19th century.
