Eţ/Af Pentecostal Church Serving the people of Pentecostal denomination, it was opened on September 15, 2013. BERCU NOU The village of Bereu Nou is a new country side, it was established due to the agrarian reform, after the Second World War, consisting of colonists that came in here during the years 1954 - 1956. The inhabitants of Bereu Nou are Romanians, most of them coming from Maramureş, due to the higher quality of the agricultural land, their main occupation being agriculture, particularly growing strawberries, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. The village had a school (that doesn’t work anymore nowadays, In 1973 the village had about 80 houses with 300 inhabitants, of which 62 were Orthodox families and 18 families were Pentecostals and Seventh-day Adventists. Today, out of the 233 villagers, 136 are Orthodox, 5 Roman - Catholics and the rest of them are Pentecostals, Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh-day Adventists. There is a house of prayer belonging to the Seventh-day Reformist Adventists in the village, opened on Saturdays from 9:30 to 12. the children being transported by Micula school bus to the downtown school), community center and kindergarten. The village is known mainly due to the nearby fishery ponds and beautifully landscapes.
