Investigating the cause of this protocol we found as a possible explanation the desire of aristocratic households to take the place of the medieval Hungarian royal court from Buda, which has disappeared in 1540. Another cause of that change of the protocol could be the general pressure of the lower social groups, which wanted to imitate the noble households.
