From Peşteana (Haţeg) raised egregius Andrei de Pesthyen, vasal of Iancu de Hunedoara and Mihai (1447-1479), member of the royal Court, county governor and ambassador in Valachia and Moldavia. The members of Cdndea and Căndreş related families (Kende, Kenderes), also from Haţeg district, became famous as military commanders and vasals of Corvin family. At the end of 15th century Mihai Kendefi participated as leader of nobility at Hungarian Parliament and member of the Court of Transylvania. loan Căndreş, who put the buses of the branch of Kenderesi family, was a member of royal Council under king Mathias and a famous military leader. His sons also activated in the structures of the royal Court. From the large family of Vlad de Ciula, besides the barons Ladislau Fychor (1479-1492), Master of the Horse and Warden f banus j of Jaice (Bosnia) and Severin (Romanian Banat) and Gheorghe More (1489-1507), also Master of Horse and Warden of Severin and Belgrad, others three members became famous in military jobs: Nicolae Kende, Warden of Sabacz in Serbia (1494-1508), Mihai More vice-Warden in Belgrad (7-1521) and loan Wancha (1479-1489), chief­­commander of Unguraş castle in Transylvania.
