Berveni. Ghid cultural şi istoric Comuna Berveni este situată la 8 km nord de Cărei, în imediata apropiere a graniţei românomaghiare. în Berveni se află singurul punct de trecere feroviară a frontierei spre Ungaria din judeţ. Comuna este formată din două localităţi: Berveni şi Lucăceni. Conform datelor recensământului din 2002, din totalul de 3614 locuitori ai comunei, 62,42% sunt maghiari, 33,12% români, iar restul de 4,12% romi. Börvely. Történelmi és kulturális kalauz Börvely község Nagykárolytól 8 km-re északra a román-magyar határ közvetlen közelében fekszik. Itt található a megye egyetlen vasúti határátkelője Magyarország felé. A községet két falu alkotja: Börvely és Lucăceni. A 2002-es népszámlálás adatai szerint a község 3614 lakosának többsége magyar (62,42%), harmadrésze román (33,12%) a többi, 4,12%, roma nemzetiségű. Berveni. A guide to culture and history Berveni is located 8 km to the north of the town Carei, close to the Romanian-Hungarian border. There is a railway crossing point on the border with Hungary, the only one in the county. The municipality is made up of two localities: Berveni and Lucăceni. According to the census of 2002, the number of inhabitants is 3614, out of which 62,42% are Hungarian, one third (33,12%) are Romanians, while the remaining 4,12% are Gypsies.
