Lobont Puscas Maria - Dobrescu Adela: Biserica de lemn din Soconzel (Satu Mare, 2010)

Atât pictura cât şi icoanele din biserică sunt realizate în stil bizantin, cu o grijă deosebită pentru detalii şi culori aşa cum se poate observa la îmbrăcămintea Fecioarei Maria şi a Mântuitorului Isus Hristos. Pe fondul temelor pictate, împrejurul scenelor găsim consemnări şi inscripţii româneşti cu caractere chirilice, de texte care au menirea să clarifice identitatea personajelor şi semnificaţia compoziţiilor.

The painting and the icons are made in the Byzantine style, with a special attention paid to the details and colors and to the clothes of Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ.

On the background of the painted themes, there are some Romanian inscriptions written in the Cyrillic alphabet. These texts explain the identity of the characters and also the signification of the images.
