Meşteşuguri şi meşteri sătmăreni. Curelăria mărime şi s-au cusut. în funcţie de mărimea ornamentului realizat prin împletire se stabileşte numărul de fire, se împerechează şi se fixează la scaunul de curelărie. Firul din spate vine tăiat cu sula prin el se trage firul din faţă. Această tehnică de îmbinare stă la baza execuţiei unui ornament împletit. Tehnica devine mai complexă în cadrul execuţiei unui ornament în funcţie de model şi stil, de mărime etc. dar punctul de pornire rămânând acelaşi. Meşteşugul curelăriei nu se rezumă doar la a confecţiona piese de hamaşament sau şei, meşterul curelar confecţionează şi alte produse din piele cum ar fi: teaca pentru cuţit ori arme, curele pentru gloanţe, genţi, articole pentru dresaj (folosite la cai, câini), ori diferite articole sportive. Crafts and craftsmen in Satu Mare Abstract Handmade belts is a handicraft that has its beginnings in ancient times, when man tried to approached the horse (wild horse), to team it and use it. This handicraft is one of the oldest in human history. Like any handicraft, the belt making evolves and develops over time depending on the needs and requirements. In Satu Mare the belt making is an old and well-known handicraft and there were many masters: Korompáki András, Székely Pista and his apprentice: Kavács József, Kátai Lajas; Nagy Bertalan; master Adam B. and his apprentice: Müller István, master Markos Jószef; master Bállá Jószef; master Tömöri Bálint; master Pofok György; master Kává Bállá; master Kavács József; master Müller Pista and his apprentice: Kasztán Mihály and Papp Géza; master Kasztán Mihály and his apprentice: Jakab Jáska and Szijjártó Ferencz; master Papp Gáza and his apprentice Müller Ferencz (the son of master Müller Pista); master Tóth István and his apprentice Lévai Iosif; master Csepa Ferencz; master Lévai Iosif; master .
