Arhaeometric analysis ofceramic finds (Abstract)

In the present work archeometric characterisation of ceramic samples were presented. Mineralogical examination on thin-sections in polarised light allow the identification of mineral phases and the determination of an estimated firing temperature interval. In the study X-ray fluorescence (XRF) coupled to standard calibration method was used. The given results help us to group them depend on used raw materials and iron (Fe) content.
