Endemical and Rare Cormophite Species in South-West Romania (Banat)

(Summary)

The author presents the list containing the rare endemic cormophites in southwest Romania (Banat). While making up the list the author took into consideration the existing bibliography on this topic, as well as the personal studies performed in the area. The list contains over 200 taxons representing rare species, out of which a few endemites proper to this region, others proper to the Northernmost boundary of their area, the others existing through small populations as a consequence to the change of the natural bio-type.
