Therefore the authors coin the following ideas about the flora and vegetation of Oaş-Maramureş peat-bogs: a) all peat bogs of the studied region are “small floristical and vegetational isles b) the flora of these peat bogs is made mostly by “hydrostable plant species and only few hydro-unstable plant species " and c) a special attention was given by authors to “several plant species which have two ecological niches ” (see tabel 1); the unchanging nicke is the hydrophitic one, the others (mesohydrophitic, mesophytic, xeromesophitic or very rare the xerophytic one) may vary from one species to the other.

Finally the authors advice the young researches to study Oaş — Maramureş peat bogs region into the near future from the scale ecology point of view.
