Changes of the Ichtiofauna of the Rivers of the North-Western Romania

(Summary)

The Ichtiofauna of the rivers of Northwestern Romania has changed owing the human activities. The number of fish has decreased. Umbra krameri, Rutilus pigus virgo, Leuciscus leuciscus, Carassius carassius, Tinea tinea are on the way of disappearing.

The area of Eudontomyzon danfordi has enlarged.' It was found in Barcău. The Gymnocephalus baloni species was descovered in Crişul Negru and Mureş.

The Pseudorasbora parva, Carassius auratus, Lepomis gibbosus, Ictalurus nebulosus species has been spread very much. In Ier and Barcău there appeared Ictalurus melas.

We can wait for the apparition of Proterorhinus marmoratus, Neogobius fluviatilis and Percottus glehni species.
