O nouă descoperire aparţinând culturii Suciu de Sus 77 A new discovery belonging to the culture of Suciu de Sus (The settling of Tătăreşti, Satu Mare county) (Summary) The authors present a recent discovery from Bronze Age, respectively the settling found within the borders of the locality Tătăreşti. Starting with an intimation, the research has established that, on "The Hill of Tătăreşti"(fig. 1-2) there is a rich establishment from the Bronze Age, the Culture of Suciu de Sus, the third stage of development, chronologically corresponding to the Bronze D and to the beginning of the early Hallstatt. For the dating, an important clue is a fragment from an axe with a rectangular body in section/fig. 3/1). The field research has led to the discovery of some traces of living from other periods, too: the third and fourth centuries, the sixth and seventh centuries (note number 3) and the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, but these are sporadic.
