Tiles in the Collection of the District Museum Satu Mare (Summary) This study has proposed itself to present some tiles that are in the collection of the District Museum Satu Mare. They come from region Călata and they were made in the XVIlC century by skilled handicrafts men, people who knew very well the secrets of their job. The tiles are described from an artistical point of view too, showing the fact that their creators took this job up to the level of art.
