The Industry of Building Materials in Satu Mare at he and of the XIX th century and the beginning of the XX th. Brick Factories

(Summary)

On the basis of minute inspection of the existing archives anf of the studies that habe been written so far, in this study the author deals with the development of the industry of builting materials in Satu Mare at the end of the last century and in the first two decades of our century, namely of the brick factories.

The developement phase of this field is viewed beginning with little factories and to big factories. In this period a main role in the production of building materials will be held by the society "The First Brick Factory" in Satu Mare, whose activity analysis is shown in detail. Together with the strict productive activity, economical and social references will be made all along the study.
