Révay, Á.: Review of the Myxomycetes of Hungary
species of Myxomycètes in Hungary. These data also reveal that the 21 most frequent species comprise more than 60% of the whole collection. On the other hand, nearly half of the species are known from a single locality or a few sites only. The species names included in this paper are arranged in alphabetic order. Each entry begins with the current name of the taxon (in boldface). Synonym names, if any, are in brackets. In general, only those synonym names are given which were published by Hungarian authors earlier. A list of synonym names is presented at the end of this paper in the Appendix. Sándor Tóth, who worked for many years in the Museum, enriched the fungus collection with invaluable materials. A considerable part of the Myxomycètes material was collected and identified (or collected by others and identified) by him. I should like to dedicate this paper for his 90th birthday. Table 1.
