Medzihradszky, Zsófia: Palynological investigation of a late Holocene sequence from Southwestern Hungary

LPAZ I: ?—535 cm. The subsoil water washed out the sediment from the sampler, this is why the lower border of this zone is unmarked. Fagus, Alnus and Betula peak characterises the pollen curve. LPAZ II: 535-460 cm. First peak of Pinus, increase of Tilia (highest value 30%), Carpinus and Corylus is observable. The zone was determined according to the presence of Quercus. CL 0J Q Fig. 2.
