Silène latifolia Poir. subsp. alba (Mill.) Grent. et Bürdet (Syn.: Melandrium album (Mill.) Garcke) - Sporadic in weedy associations. (BAUER 1996). Silène nutans L. - Widespread in the forests of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Silène otites (L.) Wib. - Common in sandy grasslands in the environs of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Silène viscosa (L.) Pers. (Syn.: Melandrium viscosum (L.) Celak.) - Sporadic on the western slope of Strázsa-hegy and in the environs of sandy hillocks. (FEICHTINGER 1899, BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Silene vulgaris (Moench) Garcke - Common. (BAUER 1996). Sisymbrium strictissimum L. - Sporadic in the forests of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Solanum dulcamara L. - In roadside vegetation at Sátorkőpuszta. (BAUER 1996). Solidago canadensis L. - In the sandpit of Sátorkőpuszta and in weedy grass communities in the environs of the hills. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Solidago gigantea Ait. - Common and occurs in large of numbers in the sandpit of Sátorkőpuszta. (BAUER 1996). Solidago virga-aurea L. - In Tábla-hegy, mainly in pubescent oak forests. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Sonchus arvensis L. - Sporadic in the study area. Sorbus aucuparia L. subsp. lanuginosa Kit. ex Schult. - Occurs in the pubescent oak forests of Tábla-hegy southwestern margin of placor. Sorbus danubialis (Jáv.) Kárp. - In open places on the northern slopes of Kis-Strázsa-hegy, and in pubescent oak woods of Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Sorbus domestica L. - (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Sorbus torminalis (L.) Cr. - Common in forests of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Spiraea media Fr. Schm. - Rare in the rocks of Kis-Strázsa- and Strázsa-hegy. (FEICHTINGER 1899, BOROS 1920, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996, KUN 1996, BAUER and BARNA 1999). Stachys germanica L. - Sporadic in "weedy grasses". (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Stachys officinalis (L.) Trev. - Characteristic in steppe meadows, cleared meadows and several forest communities. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Stachys recta L. - Common in the dry grassy areas of the study area. (BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Staphylea pinnata L. - Occurs in forests of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Stellaria holostea L. - Many individuals on the northern slopes of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Stellaria media (L.) Vill. - Occurs in weedy grass communities and in degraded forests. (BAUER 1996). Stipa capillata L. - Common in steppe meadows of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Stipa dasyphylla Czern. - Sporadic in the steppe meadows of Strázsa-hegy, and occurs in large numbers in fire damaged steppe meadows on the southern slope of Tábla-hegy. Stipa pennata L. (Syn.: Stipa joannis Celak.) - Common attending species on Strázsa-hegy and dominant in the closed "sand grasses". (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995).
