Marrubium peregrinum L. - Sporadic in the dry grassy areas the environs of Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Marrubium vulgare L. - In dry, weedy grasses of Sátorkőpuszta. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Matricaria chamomilla L. - Rare element in the open "sand grasses" of Sátorkőpuszta. Medicago falcata L. - Widespread in weedy and degraded steppe meadows of the study area. (BAUER 1996). Medicago lupulina L. - Frequent attending element in dry grassy areas of the study area. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Medicago minima (L.) Grufbg. - On limestone-based "rock grasses" and treaded steppes. (BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Melampyrum arvense L. - Occurs in the big quarry of Strázsa-hegy. (BAUER 1996). Melampyrum cristatum L. - Sporadic species in dry grassy areas of Tábla-hegy. Melampyrum nemorosum L. - Common in the degraded forests of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Melica ciliata L. - Occurs in the limestone-based "rock grasses" of Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Melica nutans L. - Widespread in the forest margins on the northern slope of Strázsa-hegy. Melica transsylvanica Schur - Rare; in pubescent oak woods on the southern slopes of Tábla-hegy. (BOROS 1919). Melica unijlora Retz. - Widespread in the forests of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SERE­GÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Melilotus albus Desr. - Common in weedy grass communities. Melilotus officinalis (L.) Palla - Common in weedy grass communities and in degraded natural associations. (BOROS 1919, BAUER 1996). Melittis carpatica Klok. - Common in the forests of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Mentha arvensis L. - Occurs in humid and weedy vegetation types. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Mentha longifolia (L.) Nath. - In humid grass communities northeast of Tábla-hegy and south­east of Kis-Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Mercurialis perennis L. - Occurs on the northern slopes of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy, in some places in large numbers. (BAUER 1996). Microrrhinum minus (L.) Fourr. (Syn.: Chaenorrhinum minus (L.) Lange) - At the southwest­ern foot of Strázsa-hegy, in weed vegetation. (BAUER 1996). Minuartia glomerata (M. B.) Degen - Sporadic in steppe meadows of Strázsa-hegy. Minuartia rubra (Scop.) McNeill (Syn.: M. fastigiata Sm.) - In dry grassy areas. (FEICH­TINGER 1899, BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Minuartia setacea (Thuill.) Hay. - (FEICHTINGER 1899, BOROS 1919, 1920). Minuartia viscosa (Schreb.) Schinz et Thell. - Sporadic in sandy steppe meadows at Sátorkőpuszta. Muscari comosum (L.) Mill. - Sporadic in the steppe meadows of Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Muscari racemosum (L.) Lam. et DC. (Syn.: M. neglectum Guss. ex Ten.) - Frequent in the dry grassy areas of Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Mycelis muralis (L.) Dum. - Common in the forests of Strázsa and Tábla-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Myosotis arvensis (L.) Hill. - Common in dry grassy areas.
