Schmidt) Janch. - Occurs in large numbers near the top of Strázsa-hegy in the grass community dominated by Bromus erectus, on the northern slope (FEICHTINGER'S (1899) data of Allium acungulum might refer to this species). (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Allium sphaerocephalon L. - Appears in large numbers in spots in the steppe grass slope meadows and in the "steppe grasses" on the eastern foot of Tábla-hegy. Sporadic in dry steppe meadows around the hills. (BOROS 1919, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER and BARNA 1999). Allium vineale L. - Appears in disturbed steppe meadows southeast of Tábla-hegy. (BAUER 1996) . Alyssum alyssoides (L.) Nath. - Frequent in dry grassy areas of the area. (BOROS 1920, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Alyssum montanum L. - (FEICHTINGER 1899). Amaranthus retroflexus L. - Occurs in masses on the burrow at Sátorkőpuszta, frequent in weed communities. Ambrosia artemisiifolia L. - Frequent in weed communities, but also appears in open "sand grasses". It has not been observed in big masses. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Anacamptis pyramidalis (L.) Rich. - On the northeastern chine of Strázsa-hegy at 270 m elevation above sea level there is a population with a small number of individuals in a "steppe grass" slope meadow developed partly after clearing. (BAUER 1996). Anagallis arvensis L. - Appears in weed communities on disturbed surfaces. (BAUER 1996). Anchusa officinalis L. - Sporadic in weed communities and in degraded "sand grasses".
