Studia bot. hung. 30-31, pp. 141-143, 1999-2000 DIAGNOSES LATINAE OF THE NEW SUBSECTIONS OF THE SUBGENUS AGARICUS G. BOHUS Department of Botany, Hungarian Natural History Museum H-1476 Budapest, Pf. 222, Hungary Eighteen subsections are created and used in years 1990 and 1995 (BOHUS 1990,1995), but only with nomina nuda, in papers. Key words: Agaricus, subgenus, diagnoses latinae The first results on Agaricus research were published in 1961 (BOHUS 1961 ). A considerable number of the species occurring in various areas of Europe were also found here in the Carpathian Basin during the 40 years after that, with fifteen taxa new to science, described by the author, and further 3 taxa published together with other authors. All of these taxa are accepted even today. Names and descriptions of subsections, recorded continually for species groups, were summarised and completed in 1990 (BOHUS 1990) and 1995 (BOHUS 1995).
