He visited this area many times in the following years: 1948, 1951, 1953, 1956, 1957 (VAJDA 1948, 1951, 1953, 1956, 1957). Boros visited these valleys too (BOROS 1947, 1948, 1949); he collected the same Sphagna in Komlóska Valley from 3947, 1948, 1949 and later he also recorded them from Kemence Valley (1949). Investigations of Vajda and Boros resulted in five exact Sphagnum occurrences in these valleys, and their identified the specimens as S. palustre and S. contortum. Simon worked here in the 1960s and 1970s, and he published occurrences of the same peatmoss species (SIMON \ 911b). BP and EGR have extensive collections of Sphagnum specimens from these valleys (collectors: Boros, Vajda, Soó, Pócs and Bakalár). AU specimens were reTable 2.
