Papp, Beáta, Ódor, Péter; Erzberger, Peter: Preliminary data about the present Hungarian local populations of rare European bryophytes
Since always the highest IUCN category of the species has to be taken into consideration we can conclude that Fissidens arnoldii is an endangered (EN) species in Hungary as it is defined as endangered, EN by the criteria B (although according to criterion D it would be vulnerable, VU). Acknowledgements - Many thanks to Erzsébet Szurdoki for help during the field surveys, and Miklós Rajczy for his assistance with computer work, and Robert McF. Craig for linguistic corrections. The study was supported by the Ministry for Environment (first author) and the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund (OTKA F029762) grant (second author). REFERENCES BOROS, Á.
