His students and friends gave proof of their gratitude and esteem by dedicating to his name both recent and fossil plant species. The list hereunder submitted attempts to give a possibly complete enumeration of the new taxonomic units, both recent and fossil, described by GÁBOR ANDREÁNSZKY, as well as a register of those genera and species which have been dedicated to him in algology, the microfungi, and flowering plants. Finally, this compilation presents ANDREÁNSZKY's scientific and popular works. By this the authors aimed at publishing, as far as possible, the complete material of his magnificent oeuvre and that all later users of ANDREÍNSZKY' s works find them in their totality here.
