Zarko Lazarev ic/Joie PrinCiC well as on cooperation with Austria. It contains data on exports-imports flows, trade plans, payments, foreign exchange transactions, import licences and trade represent- tations in Austria. A mass of materials related to Austria from the period 1953-1970 is available in the fond of the Federal Executive Council (the government), which is properly organised and easily accessible through a comprehensive inventory. It includes various plans of agreements, protocols on cooperation, on the scope and structure of trade, turnover, abolition of visas, employment of Yugoslav workers in Austria and their social insurance, cross-border cooperation, exchange through fairs, etc. Similar materials can also be found in the department which used to be in charge of cooperation with EFTA countries. Within the Federal Executive Council, the Federal Secretariat for International Trade used to be responsible for international economic cooperation. The materials are available only for the period 1956-1966, after which this body was reorganised and renamed into a Federal Secretariat for International Economic Relations. The Federal Chamber of International Trade (1952—1963) thus associated companies which had their business partners abroad. Within this association, companies defended their interests, obtained import or export licences, sought information on foreign partners, and solved problems related to customs or to implementation of international trade and economic agreements. In the late 1970s, Interest Grouping for International Economic Relations was established (1978-1985). The fond of this association contains the memos from meetings of individual committees (committee for promotion of international economic cooperation, for balance of payments and foreign exchange balance, for foreign exchange system and general affairs), where different aspects of international economic cooperation were 234
