III. Soziale Ordnungen / Social orders - Arlette Abrahamian: Intelligent Trains
While Wisdom’s ideas change and inspire And spring to inventive thoughts Infinite destinies of people and landscapes are altered and affected by Railway-Invention playing its part. Stations built, pompous and solid To last for centuries ahead Under relentless skies of commerce and greed They boast and glorify the past. Speed advances the frantic spirits Phantoms of movement compete with time. The faster the train, the more tyrannical the engine Darting and whizzing - restless and dazzled The sight of today’s train passing by. While Nature renews revolving thoughts And heals each wounded mind Man - depletes nature’s resources Pollutes and leaves deep scars behind. Nature bleeds, yet with untiring gaze Begs the Genius to raise the sinking mind And strike an Image of intelligent trains In shades of mental Light.
