(§) sign means that the settlement is not a member any of the clusters characterized by a lot of 0 data, due to its great similarity to its closer environment. Going one step further, when 10 clusters are formed (Map 8), we can notice that the value of variance suffers another quite remarkable decrease (4,13-3,55). Now we can see, that the two other more traditional regions, the Highlands and Transylvania remain intact, whereas West Hungary is divided into three, and the Plains into four regions. Besides the north-eastern and eastern part determined before, the middle plain is also divided to a southern (*) and a northern part (3). The line between them runs roughly along the border of Pest county and Bács-Kiskun county. 58
