Beginning from the 19th century several studies have been published about György Rákóczi (1701-1756), the last male descendant of the family of the princes of Rákóczi of Felsővadász and of his alleged wife, Marguerite Suzanne Pinthereau de Boislisle (1701-1768). In the above publication you can read about the most important moments of the life of Mrs. Rákóczi based on information gathered mostly from registry sources of those times. Thus, we will talk about the place and time of her birth and death. We have also tried to get an answer to the following question: was Marguerite Suzanne Pinthereau de Boislisle indeed the legal wife of the prince and whether they had a common child or not.
