The Carlsbad waters are especially recommended for all complaints of tbe Stomach and Liver, Boweís, Spleen. Kidneys, and Urinary Organs, Stone in the Bladder, diseases» of the Prostata, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Rheumatism, Gout etc. etc. The exported Carlsbad Waters may be used in the same manner at home as they are at the spring. The waters should be drunk in the morning, fasting, and very slowly; allowing an interval of twenty minutes between each additional glass. While drinking the patient may at his convenience take a walk nr stay at home. In every cas2 it is advisable to take exercise of a moderate kind, and only unless obligatory should the water be used in bed. For Temporary or Habitual Constipation the waters have proved to be the remedy »par excellcnce« and should be taken in doses of a tumblerful, warmed with a teaspoonful of the natural Sprudel Salt dissolved therein, before breakfast.
