összeolvasztotta „Egyesült Izzólámpa és Villamossági Rt” néven. Az Egyesült Izzólámpa és Villamossági Rt. további fejlődésének fontos eredménye a „Western Electric Company”:val 1899-ben kötött szabadalmi szerződés, így a legnagyobb amerikai telefontársasággal nyert kapcsolat révén az Egyesült Izzólámpa és Villamossági Rt. Magyarországon elnyerte a maga részére a vezető szerepet. A vállalat első ténykedései közé tartozott, hogy a Western Electric Company szabadalmait megszerezze. A gyár fő termékei a vákuumtechnikai cikkeken kívül ebben az időben a híradástechnikai gyártmányok voltak. Puskás Tivadar (Edison magyar munkatársa) nagyjelentőségű találmánya - amely lényegében a telefonközpont alapgondolatát tartalmazza - a fejlődést ezen a téren is meggyorsította. Ez a mindennel foglalkozó vállalat nem sokáig maradt fenn. 1928-ban a híradástechnikai rész levált és mint az ITT amerikai tőkeérdekeltség leányvállalata „Standard Villamossági Rt” néven megkezdte önálló működését. A Standard Villamossági Rt. fejlődése 1928 után Megalakulása után a Standard Villamossági Rt. gyártási profilja a híradástechnikai termékek irányába fejlődött tovább. A vállalat gyártmányai a harmincas évek elején a távíró-berendezések, a telefonközpontok és készülékek, valamint a rádió adó- és vevőkészülékek voltak. A termékek kitűnő minősége következtében a vállalat gyártmányai egész Európában és a Közel-Keleten keresettek. Híradástechnikai újdonságokban nincs hiány: Közép-Európában itt gyártottak először Rotary rendszerű automatikus telefonközpontot.
