(with tiny written lettére, in Hebrew, in Rabbinical style:) With the help of God, may he be blessed! By the light of the 5th day (= the evening before Thursday), on the 2nd day of Adar 2, in the year (5)654 (= winter 1894), the members of the local Holy Association assembled to put the affairs of the Association in order, and based on the opinion of the majority they appointed the admirable man Chief Rabbi Hayim Polacsek as treasurer (elder), and appointed R(eb) Natan Fried, to be trustee (elder). And (the decision) was completed with the agreement of the men of the Association, on behalf of all the fellow members who came along to the house of counsel, (and whose names are) entered here. 1. These are the men who are obliged to pay the Association, (and) are bound over as an obligation to pay in the sum which they owe during the course of the year, in four instalments, namely to pay in - part (at the end of) every 3rd month. And (with regard to) those who are bound over to pay their obligations, and do not pay punctually, even in the case of the first quarter portion, the Hevrah has the right to send the page (with the name of the person) home, and expel him from the Association. He no longer has any rights in the Association, and the paid in money is lost. 2. It was (also) decided that the whole Association had been invited to the seasonal meeting, and those who did not appear at the session will all be disciplined in accordance with the regulations. 3. The newly elected person has been assigned the duty of having the regulations for the Association of another community of faith brought along, and should the members of the Holy Association decide on a new set of regulations, let it be transplanted into the Hungarian language, and taken with the help of the Sheriff to the ministry, so it will be available to them. 4. Alongside the elected persons named above, another three were appointed: a) the honourable old man R(eb) Zeev Klein, b) the honourable leader Chief Rabbi Meir Volf Engel, c) the honourable R(eb) Meir Klein. 5. The elected persons named above have been authorised to establish a system of practice in the following way. The treasurer is authorised to withdraw and give two gold sums from the Association treasury, according to judgement of the matter - together with the three elected persons named above, withdrawals of up to five gold sums may be made. And should it become necessary to withdraw more than this, the matter should be decided based on the opinion of the majority of the Holy Association members. Produced and concluded on the above date, in the presence of the signatories, all those men who assembled on this date.
