Varga György szerbiai és boszniai Itadiútjúnuk néhány állomása SÁNDOR GALAMBOS: Corporal György Varga's Notes on the World War I. (1914-1918) György Varga served in the World War I. (1914-1918) as a corporal in 1914-1915. He fought in several areas of war in Bosnia, Serbia and Italy. He regularly got his experience down on paper then he copied it into a small notebook. The notes published here are dry and dispassionate facts depicting the soldiers' living conditions, problems, joy and sorrow. In the center we can find the weather conditions, the difficulties in getting water and food and the operational events of the war.
